| Quite frankly, it all started in July of 2006 when
our son was born. We had done plenty of shopping ahead of time,
and had purchased what seemed like enough clothes. One
of the cutest things we thought our boy would wear was a pair of jeans.
They sold them everywhere and in every possible size for babies, both
boys and girls, but very few places seemed to have the finishing touch
for these jeans, A BELT!
We looked everywhere and only found a couple of places that sold them
at all. The few that we did find were just plain black and brown
belts that looked so adult and lacked the fun that every boy and girl
deserved to wear! The rest of their clothing was fun, why not
their belts too?
Then we found the leather, blue background with little green animals
and arks on it. Perfect for our little boy! We made just the
one to start with, and got nothing but complements. Then we
started getting questions from other mommies and daddies..."Where did
you find THAT?? It is so cute!"
When we told them that we made it, they wanted one. We started
looking around and found more and more of the leather with designs,
started playing around with other designs, even tooled and decorated
belts. Every one of them was a hit, and Baby Belts USA was born!
Since then we have tried to keep the variety in colors and styles for
both boys and girls as large as possible. We look regularly for
more designs and colors, and come up with tooled and decorated belts
regularly. All of them are hand made right here in the Sierra
Nevada Desert so quality is assured! |
